Yoga (Vinyasa Flow) is a class for individuals who seek a well-rounded movement-based yoga class. The spectrum of postures includes vinyasa flow, forward bends, balancing postures, inversions, backbends, twists, reclining postures, and resting poses. Specific alignment points are offered, and each student is encouraged to listen to and honor their body's wisdom as they choose which postures and level of intensity feels appropriate in that moment. Hula Hoop (Yoga Hoop Dance) is a class designed to playfully explore the breath, alignment, yoga postures, the natural laws of gravity and centrifugal motion, mindfulness practices, and expressive arts with adult-sized hula hoops and music. Dijeridoo (Breath Meditation) is a 2-hour workshop is offered where you will learn basic techniques for making sound with this wind instrument, including a "how-to" for circular breathing. The echoed tones and rhythms may calm your nervous system in a way that makes room for a silent centered stillness and possibly a seated meditation. Postures are chosen to accommodate people who need partial or full support with a chair.
